WHAT SORT OF ANIMATION DO YOU DO?
I have two styles of 2D animation: hand-drawn animation and time-lapse animation. Hand-drawn is animation I do frame by frame, meaning your story can jump into life with moving characters! This style is great for tackling complex ideas and allows me to pack a lot of action into the shots. Check out my Barnwood Trust video for an example of hand-drawn animation.
Time-lapse animation means the pictures appear one by one, and seem to be drawn in the air as if by magic. This is a great choice for explainer videos in particular and is also a faster process to animate. Check out my explainer video for the Peterhouse School for an example of time-lapse animation.

Great question! Animation not only enhances audience engagement, but also increases comprehension big time—one in three people are visual learners, and an animated video is much more likely to grab people's attention and get your message across!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
I charge from £950 per minute of hand-drawn animation and £650 per minute of time-lapse animation. For this price you receive two rounds of free revision in the rough stage, one free round of revisions on the final film and exclusive license for use of the finished high definition video on any platform you choose! I will also make sure any sound files you send me are perfectly synchronised with the animation.
WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING PROCESS FOR ANIMATION?
After filling out the inquiry form HERE, I’ll arrange a 30-minute call to iron out things like budgets, timeframes and deadlines, which will vary based on your vision. I'll also answer any questions you might have about the process.
I'll then grab things like any audio you might be wanting to use, and create something called an animatic, which is a roughly drawn animation indicating what my timings will be for your video. Once that's been approved, I'll get to work, checking in weekly to update you on my progress!
